The Crownline 275 may be the deal of the month at the boat shows in Huntsville and Birmingham

It’s that time of year–boat dealers are hitting the convention centers around the country to show off their latest models and attract some new customers.

The Huntsville Boat Show kicks off Thursday, January 13th and runs through Sunday at the Von Braun Civic Center. The Birmingham Boat Show is the next weekend (Jan. 20th-23rd) at the BJCC.

“This is a great buying opportunity for the customer,” says Bennett Rambo of Rambo Marine. “The boating industry isn’t like the auto dealers where they have rebates year round. This is the only time of the year that manufacturers really provide significant incentives on new boats.”

And the discounts at the shows can be worth it–the prices are usually substantially discounted and there are rebates up to $3,000 off from the manufacturer. In addition to rolling out the latest models from MasterCraft, Cobalt, and Crownline there are seminars on fishing, wakeboarding and skiing.
