Great music in store for this year’s Dock at the Rock…

When we kick off the second annual Dock at the Rock on May 14th, we’re going to have a stellar music lineup in place to enjoy on the newly installed amphitheater at Silverock Cove. The green space will be the place to be as we’ll set up barbecue during the day and the crawfish boil as the sun goes down.

Check out these videos of our performers for a preview of the music lineup:

Paul Burch is one of the most authentic voices in country music. His albums Pan American Flash and Blue Note need to be a part of your lakehouse CD collection. See this video for a classic Burch cut, “Life of a Fool.”

Jon Black from Birmingham has been getting national attention for his home city, with his songs featured on “Private Practice” and “90210.” Check out this song “Declaration” from his album Goodbye Golden Age.

Doc Dailey & Magnolia Devil have a sound that seems borrowed from a Faulkner novel. The Muscle Shoals natives have had their songs played everywhere from campus radio stations to the BBC. And their latest album Victims, Enemies and Old Friends is apparently available in 8-track.

Dillon Hodges won the National Flat Picking Guitar Championship when he was 17 years old. He’s a student at UNA in Florence, and he’s just released a 5 song EP Seeds I’ve Sown. See the video for the song “Cold Mountain River” from the EP.
