Silverock Cove and Point William were happy to participate in the 2012 Mike Beasley Poker Run this year. More than 400 participants came out this past Saturday to Smith Lake to try to take home the $500 Grand Prize.

This year’s event raised more than $28,000 and has raised more than $750,000 over the past 12 years. The event benefits the Smith Lake Task Force, which was created in honor of Mike Beasley to aid in searches for victims of boating and drowning accidents.
