Come out Saturday to demo the new line of boats from Rambo Marine
Rambo Marine is bringing the new line of MasterCraft, Cobalt and Crownline boats to Silverock Cove this weekend on Saturday, May 11th from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. If you are in the market for a new boat or simply want to kick the tires this will be a great time to come up and visit.
Rambo Marine will have the MasterCraft X-25, Cobalt 24 SD, and Crownline E4 available and ready to test drive. In addition, they will be hosting a “learn to ride” clinic with professional instruction for wakeboarding and wake surfing enthusiasts and kids.
This is a great excuse to get up to the lake this weekend if you haven’t been up in a while and check out the progress at Silverock and Point William. Our agents will be on hand to give tours of our properties at both developments.
For more information on Rambo Marine and their line of boats, please visit their website at rambomarine.com

The final phase of construction at Silverock has begun, with two cottages in progress along the road leading from the Mountain Side pool.
The cottages under construction–the Ash and the Boxelder, are notable for open spaces on the lower level and large porches off the kitchen. Tucked away amongst a thick canopy of oak and pine trees, these homes sit above the road and feature fantastic views–perfect for a quiet weekend retreat or entertaining guests at the lake.
Prices for these cottages start at $299,000. For more information about the cottages in Phase V, please feel free to contact one of our realtors at 205-994-6504.

Spotted at the foot of the Ngong Hills. (photo by Kelvin Terry)
Kelvin Terry, the landscape architect who worked on Silverock Cove, sent an unusual photo from his trip to Nairobi, Kenya. From Kelvin:
There are 35 million people in Kenya and today while eating lunch at the Windsor Park Club in Nairobi a local Kenyan walked by sporting this Silverock Cove T-shirt! Can you believe it? I asked him where he got it and he replied a friend had given it to him. Cheers!
It’s a little more than 8,000 miles from Smith Lake to Kenya. Glad to hear that they are spreading the word about lakeside living in Alabama.
Thanks to Rebecca Hughes for sharing!

The cottage at lot 305 at Silverock has gone under contract.
It’s been a busy year on Smith Lake for our agents at H2. Work continues at Silverock Cove, and the construction has recently started on Phase V, the final phase of development on the site.
Sales have been steady throughout 2012. In the past few weeks homes on Silverock Cove lots 305, 306, 404 and 406 have gone under contract. These are some of the last remaining lakeside lots at Silverock–only six lakeside cottages and five lakeside row homes remain. In addition, 2 of the 12 off-water homes in Phase V have been sold.
The development at Point William has seen its first homes sold. Two homes have closed and two are soon to go under contract. Work there has been progressing nicely, and there has been a great deal of interest in the project. There are limited lakeside sites at Point William, and we expect these to go quickly.
Homes listed on Smith Lake are selling within 45 days. This is a remarkable trend, and speaks to the demand for real estate on the lake.
If you are interested in a home at Silverock, Point William or want to inquire about other properties around Smith Lake, our sales agents would be happy to assist you. You can reach the H2 office at 205-994-6504.
